Chiropractic is a manual therapy focused on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those involving the spine and joints. In dogs and cats, it is used to relieve pain in the back, neck, and limbs, and to address mobility problems caused by injury, ageing, or repetitive strain. A trained veterinary chiropractor applies precise, gentle adjustments to the spine and joints to restore proper alignment and improve nerve and muscle function. The procedure is generally well tolerated and painless, though mild short-term soreness is possible. It is commonly recommended for pets with chronic pain, following orthopaedic surgery, or as ongoing support for working and athletic animals.
